Family, traditions and food allergies…
As it happens usually, small children are interested in everything that happens in the household, and I was certainly no an exception. For example, I had to be in the kitchen whenever something was being baked, boiled and fried. So there was the opportunity not only to taste, but to learn a lot of wonderful things. Passing down family recipes and collecting antique porcelain is such a tradition in our family.
Unfortunately, after some time food allergies to gluten and cow's milk kicked in. It took us a while to fully adjust, but we did it! Now we cook and bake only from naturally gluten-free ingredients such as buckwheat, corn or rice. Transforming the recipe so that the dish and dessert retain the classic structure and especially the taste was not easy, but after years of trying, we finally manage it.
And where could you see goods? Cake and cupcakes at the event of the British Embassy on the occasion of Queen Elizabeth II's 70 years on the throne, then at the Pardubice horse racecourse as part of the qualifying races for Velká Pardubická and, last but not least, at meetup events of the podcast ProgramHRování.
It is true that the food allergies are more common these days than a few generations ago, but sometimes it is still difficult to find a dish that suits all your needs, so that it is both gluten and lactose free or in combination with other allergens, for example with cow's milk or nuts. That's why I'm here to ensure that your celebrations and events are exactly according to your visions, taste and in the interest of your health.
